At Southeast Urogynecology at Women's Specialty Center, our physicians have had years of education especially dedicated to Urogynecology. This includes four years of specialty residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology, followed by 2 to 3 years of further sub-specialty training in Urogynecology
and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery. That preparation, combined with years of surgical experience and caring for patients with the problems that you have, allows us to provide you with truly specialized care.
Recent studies suggest that surgical outcomes are dramatically better when performed by high-volume surgeons. Our doctors perform more urogynecologic surgeries than anywhere in Mississippi and their experience with minimally invasive techniques is unsurpassed - allowing you a more rapid and less painful recovery. Additionally, we are on the forefront when newer technologies evolve, many times being the first in this area to receive training on new advances, so that we can offer these to you quickly and safely. Our physicians even provide surgical training and instruction to other doctors around the country. We are constantly aware of changing therapies and we are careful to give you the same results-based care that you expect and deserve. So, when treatment is entertained, especially surgery, you can be assured that Dr. Harris and Dr. Speights are two of the most experienced and compassionate urogynecologic surgeons in the entire southeastern United States. |
